FORMAL MEETINGS Job's Daughter Bethels hold two formal meetings a month, based on a common set of practices known as a 'ritual'. The formal meetings are a mix of solemn ceremony and regular business. They are chaired and run by the members themselves and give them the opportunity to discuss the business of the group, plan upcoming activities and welcome new members. From the teachings of the ritual, members learn important life lessons, while at the same time learning practical lessons about running meetings, handling finances, planning events, and public speaking. Job's Daughters is formal occasions! | ||||||

FUN & FRIENDSHIP Local groups plan frequent fun activities (like bowling, pool parties, sleep-overs, mystery trips, dinners, kidnap breakfasts, scavenger hunts, and many, many others). Occasionally, there are opportunities to got to fun activities that are planned at the state level - giving you a chance to make new friends and hang out with girls from other parts of the state. Job's Daughters is fun & friendships! |

COMMUNITY & CHARITY Each Honoured Queen (the girl who is the leader or head of the group) selects a local charity or cause to support for her civic project. Various causes are supported at the state and international levels as well. These might include organisations or causes like breast cancer awareness, diabetes, food drives, support groups or shelters for abused women, visiting nursing homes, collecting Christmas gifts for needy families, and a variety of other worthy causes. Job's Daughters are always ready to help. Job's Daughters also has their own official charity that it supports. It is called the Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment (HIKE) Fund. HIKE gives grants to hearing impaired and deaf children for learning aids, computers, speach therapy and any other needs which may arise Job's Daughters is kids helping kids! |
