On Sunday 29th October our Junior Miss Queensland, Anthea, helped Queen Bee, Natalie, and Activity Coordinator, Kym, plan and organise the Halloween party for our Bees. 15 Bees attended, which included 2 new bees! Anthea led the Games and craft rotations which were followed by our group games of pass the parcel and pop the pinata! Then the bees climbed into the inflatables filled with cushions and blankets and snuggled while watching a short Toy Story Halloween film. Then the Job's Daughters arrived and the Bees joined them to have a yummy Halloween-themed lunch! So much fun for our first Bee event of the term and the Bees were excited to meet their new Junior Queen Bee, Anthea! We are excited for an awesome fun-filled term ahead!

Our Bethel always has an end of term Mystery Trip. This time we started with a “kidnapping” where the adults picked up each of the daughters without the girls knowing that they were doing something that day. We then met at a park where we had bacon and egg bread rolls for breakfast. After we finished breakfast we all headed to the Chermside shopping centre where the girls were split into teams of 2 and did a scavenger hunt. This scavenger hunt then led them to where they would end up - which turned out to be Hijinx Hotel. Once everyone had gotten to the final destination we headed inside to do the many fun challenges. Afterwards we went to a nearby park and had lunch and played a few rounds of finska. Everyone had a great time.
A few weeks ago, our Bethel went to the splash water park at Chermside for our Bethel breakup. It was a great hot sunny day to be at a water park!!
The people who were there was the Anthea’s family, Kym and Grace, Lucy’s family, Damia, Rhiannon and Ruth, Michelle, Taliyah & Oriana’s family, Sienna, Sarah, Carmen, Sean and me.
The things we did at splash were all really fun, we swam in the pools and went on all the fun water slides.
We brought our own lunch of chicken bread rolls which were really good.
Michelle had also taken a lot of really funny photos throughout the day and after had put some of them together to make it look like people were doing all sorts of things such as swinging from a vine. Was really fun.
It was such a great day!
